Delete your Spru account

In the app

1. Open Spru and tap the settings icon on Home.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete profile.
3. Type DELETE and tap Yes, delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email us from the address you sign in to Spru with, so we can find your account. We'll delete it and let you know within one month.

Or write to privacy@spru.app.

Used Spru as a guest?

Guest profiles aren't linked to an email address. In the app, go to Settings, tap Send feedback and ask us to delete your data. Your message is linked to your guest profile, so we can find it.

What gets deleted

• Your login and profile
• Your meal history and meal photos
• Water, mood and habit logs
• Your goals and Spru's growth and progress
• Notification settings, referrals and feedback

This can't be undone.

What we keep, and for how long

Encrypted database backups

Overwritten within 30 days. They aren't restored or used in that time.

Payment and subscription records

10 years, as Swiss accounting law requires.

Usage analytics

Up to 24 months.

Crash and diagnostic data

30 days.

Emails you sent our support team

24 months after your enquiry is closed.

Marketing consent records, if you opted in

3 years after you withdraw consent.

Data Google collects to show ads is kept under Google's own privacy policy.

Your subscription isn't cancelled for you

Deleting your account doesn't stop a Grow subscription. Google and Apple bill it, so cancel it there.

• Android: Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
• iPhone: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
